A low table, a sorting tray half full, small hands dropping the last piece into the right bowl.

Products · Sorting and counting

Where a number turns into a handful.

A tray to sort into and rods to count with. Both are drawn so a two year old can carry them and a five year old still has something to do with them.

Sorting comes before counting, and both come before anybody cares what the number is called. The tray is the first thing in the range a one year old can use.

Both of these are drawn but not decided. They are here because the line is meant to cover sorting and counting; confirm the shapes before they are treated as products.
